CAFA 25th Annual General Meeting and Exhibition at SOUTH78

February 27, 2024, VIVERE Hotel ARTOTEL Curated was the location of the 25th annual general meeting of CAFA (Council of Asia Furniture Association). In this 25th general meeting, Indonesia was chosen as the host and ASMINDO as the host. The event was attended by 32 CAFA member delegates from 10 countries.

The event held on February 27-28, 2024 has several activities, namely, (1) the signing of the MoU between ASMINDO and CNFA (China National Furniture Association); (2) the reading and signing of the initiative on “Bamboo As A Substitute For Plastics In Asian Furniture Industries”; (3) conference, with the theme: “Promoting Sustainable Furniture Ecosystem Leading To Net Zero Emission”; (4) factory and campus visits; (5) exhibition of bamboo and rattan furniture and handicraft products; and (5) gala dinner. 

In addition to the conference, which was attended by around 200 participants from various related institutions, local governments, universities, furniture and craft businesses, and ASMINDO’s strategic partners in the VIVERE Hotel ballroom, there was also an exhibition of bamboo and rattan-based furniture and craft products on display on the 2nd floor of the SOUTH78 building. The exhibition was attended by several parties including Artikraft, Collection by VIVERE, BambooCoop, Els Artsindo, CVP, PT Homeware International Indonesia, Juno Home, Karuun, KemenkopUKM, Lolini, Mosedia, Shaniqua, Prasetiya Mulya University, and Wisanka Indonesia. 

The event on February 27, 2024, ended with a showroom tour of the exhibition area and the VIVERE Experience and Collaboration Space (VECS) area located on the 3rd and 3A floors of the SOUTH78 building, business matching, and dinner.
